Congratulations to Roger Langford, newest member of the NAHB Society of Honored Associates

Orlando, Fla. Jan. 13- Roger Langford has been named to the Society of Honored Associates by the National Association of Home Builders. Langford, of Richmond, Va., is Regional Director or Sales for the Professional Warranty Corporation.

NAHB Chairman-Elect Bob Nielsen, a home builder from Reno, Nev., welcomed Langford to the honorary society at the annual Associates Breakfast on Jan. 13 at the NAHB International Builders’ Show in Orlando, Fla.

“Mr. Langford volunteers for five local home building associations, the state associations in Virginia and North Carolina and NAHB itself,” Nielsen said. “He gives his time and talent throughout the federation, and we are all the better for it.”

Nielsen highlighted Langford’s efforts to launch “Right House, Right Now,” a website for Richmond homebuyers that showcases the new homes and communities built by members of the home builders association. “This is a real value-added feature of association membership,” Nielsen said.

Langford is an active volunteer on the national level as well, working on updates to the latest edition of the Residential Performance Guidelines and serving on the national Associates Council and as a member of Professional Women in Building.

Members of the Society of Honored Associates are non-builder members of the NAHB who are recognized for exemplary association service, outstanding contributions on the local, state and national levels of the home building industry, and civic responsibility.

NAHB Associate members represent a diverse group of occupations involved in the home building industry, including subcontractors, utilities, title companies, interior designers, building material manufacturers and dealers, and real estate agents, among others.
