Builder’s Limited Warranty
- Core Product is a 10-year insured builder warranty provided to the home buyer by the builder. The warranty document is designed to clearly describe all terms, conditions and limitations and includes specific warranty performance standards. A member of the Zurich – North America group insures the builder’s obligations under the warranty.
General Liability
- Home Builder Protection Plan offered by Zurich and PWC provides a general liability wrap up program for builders who have $100 million or more in annual sales. The program provides significant limits for large national home builders with opportunity for ample self-retentions. Liability coverage insuring the Builder’s Limited Warranty is also included.
- Volume Builder Protection Plan. Zurich provides a general liability wrap up program for home builders who have $20 to $100 million in annual sales. This plan provides the builder with higher policy limits than those usually available to builders of this size. The policy has fewer coverage exclusions than found in the typical residential builder’s liability policy and the program includes a Builder’s Limited Warranty administered by PWC. Higher limits are included along with a variety of deductibles. Excess liability coverage can be arranged.
